Tracie Thoms Instagram – I just saw a comment that was saying the exact opposite in this area. Saying that SAG negotiated to get synthetic fake actors paid. Let’s clear this up, shall we? @duncanci @sagaftra.
Tracie Thoms Instagram – Wooohooo! I get to play with these amazing folks on Dec 12th at the Matrix Theatre, benefiting @roguemachinetheatre!!! Come check us out!!! Taking place at our home, the Matrix Theatre, this unique evening begins at 8PM on December 12th and will run approximately 2 hours. Performed by stars of film and television, the short plays are written by some of theatre’s finest talent, including brand new plays by Halley Feiffer, Stephen Adly Guirgis, Vince Melocchi, John Pollono, Tim Venable and more. Emcee’d by Artistic Director Guillermo Cienfuegos, the cast includes Jon Bernthal (The Punisher, Wolf of Wall Street), Joshua Bitton (The Pacific), Natalia Cordova Buckley (Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D.), Kevin Daniels (Sirens) Merrin Dungey (Big Little Lies, King of Queens), Kat Foster (Gaslit), Spencer Garrett (Winning Time), Isidora Goreshter (Shameless), Sofia Hasmik (Superman & Lois), Cheyenne Jackson (American Horror Story), Cameron Monaghan (Shameless), Danny Pino (Law & Order:SVU, Mayans), Erika Soto (Vida), Tracie Thoms (Rent, Cold Case) Shawn Caulin Young (True Detective), Constance Zimmer (UnReal, Entourage) … and others to be named later. Rogue Machine hosted an earlier version of this performance in October, put together and presented by producers Joshua Bitton and Isidora Goreshter as a benefit for members of IATSE, the union of entertainment workers affected by the recent strikes. The evening was such a smashing success, they decided to get the band back together and do it again – this time to support us. The current version of the show features a few new cast additions as well as some surprises, including an entirely new piece by Pulitzer Prize winner, Stephen Adly Guirgis. Rogue Machine is extremely grateful to all who are participating in this benefit, and promises the evening will be a fun, entertaining and memorable experience.
