Jankee Parekh Instagram – It’s been less than a week to this beautiful day at the Dubai Opera where we could collectively celebrate the magic of Sethi Saab! For anyone who knows me would know that Ali’s music has been a constant through the last few years. On low days given me hope and on brighter days given me my own BGM 🎶 Ali has been part of every major work I’ve done in the last couple years. He has been playing in my ears before some beautiful scenes we attempted on Bade Achhe and on days I made sure the entire set heard him cause what’s life without rhythm and poetry.

It was only apt that when his concert dates came out earlier in the year, @jank_ee and I jumped at the venue which what’s closest home. @amritasaluja01 came to the party without a second thought and made some beautiful clothes for all of us to make the occasion our own Diwali before Diwali or as she calls it #AliWaliDiwali ! @nishchaygogia who probably is still in his sampling stage of Ali’s music decided to go ahead with our mad enthusiasm and took a flight just to so that he could experience Ali with us (which is another experience I promise)
