I first met Assegid 12 years ago in Addis Ababa and began supporting him with fundraising and grants. Last month, Alan and I met with him again and witnessed the remarkable growth of his efforts. I’m so proud to stand beside him and share the impactful journey of his small but mighty organization, FIDA! 🤝💙
We are raising funds for FIDA’s Koloboo School in Sheger City, a nursery that provides free quality education, uniforms, clean water access and two meals a day for 120 vulnerable kids each year. For most of them, this place is life-saving.
Though Ethiopia continues to make progress for its citizens, there are still major problems due to the conflict in Tigray. FIDA’s commitment shines through and changes the trajectory for so many people.
