Anderson Cooper Instagram – We don’t talk much about loss and grief, yet they are among the most universal of human experiences. All of us will lose loved ones. All of us will struggle to find a way to move forward. While packing up my mom’s apartment this past year, I began making some recordings about what I was finding and feeling. Going through her stuff, and things she had stored away of my dad’s and my brother’s, was, at times, overwhelming. I felt isolated and alone. I decided to reach out to others who’d navigated their own losses and started recording those very personal conversations as well. What I’ve learned has profoundly reshaped how I think about grief and it’s helped me tremendously. I hope it can help others as well. I turned all those recordings into a podcast about the people we lose, the things they leave behind, and how we can live on – with loss, with laughter and with love. It’s called All There Is.
