Brandon Jenner Instagram – I have found myself in the thick part of life with more responsibility than I even know what to do with. Trying to balance family, work and self care has become insanely difficult. I find myself living with a desperate desire to create more in my life in the form of art but am constantly snapped back into the reality that a vast majority of my time is spoken for as I tend to the needs of others.
As I look back on the past year, I am struck with the realization that this phase of my life is temporary. In truth, everything is temporary and I am motivated to not feel overwhelmed by life because when I look back through my camera roll from 2023, I realize just how much has actually been accomplished. So many great memories, moments and so much growth had by the people who mean so much to me. Life has played out exactly how it was supposed to and there is no use in worrying about it. If I’m fortunate enough to make it to 2044, I will surly be missing being woken up in the middle of the night by a squirming child getting under the covers to cuddle with me. I will miss making pancakes on very little sleep. My wife and I will be looking across the table at each other talking about how amazing those days were. We will most likely even miss the butt wipes and pee soaked car seats.
This year I will work to be more present, less stressed, more secure with who I am, and happier in even the toughest moments.
