1. Arriving at Hamilton Is. with Javier.
2. Ghost Pirate Blues. On the long boat journey to Whitehaven Beach the wind had picked up and the boats with cast and crew had trouble landing on the beach. Many-a-crew seeing their breakfast for the second time! Our cast boat was standing by for about an hour in the channel. I had a little travel guitar with me and Javier (who’s a drummer) banged on a few buckets. Ghost Pirate Blues was played in the bay! Was crazy fun and we were all semi-depressed when the weather subsided.
Side note: two heli’s were reserved for team Jonny and AD’s. I wrapped a bit early and had been doing water work all day. Chris Costaldi (1stAD) gave me his heli and I was back on Hamilton (and in the pub) in 10 mins. Thanks Chris. Still has me smiling to myself.
