My New Years Resolution last year was to spend less time on my phone. From the moment that I woke up, I would reach for my phone. Whether it was to check my emails, the news, texts or anything else, it was just a habit. I broke that habit and started my morning off by doing breath work, followed by a cold shower. This changed my life.
Studies show that if you can stay off of your phone for at least 1 hour first thing in the morning, your mood changes drastically and improves your mental health.
