Here’s my little photo journal of Georgia, a country I just visited for the first time last month. I first saw Zugdidi, where I sang with my band for the last of the Wine Days. Georgia has a long tradition of wine making . They call Qvevri the special terraccotta vessels where the grape juice is stored and buried underground for proper fermentation. Good wine indeed. 🍷 Then I traveled to Tiblisi and absolutely loved it. Charming, brutal, decadent and modern …in full cultural and artistic “ferment” In Georgian my name means YES NO because KI means YES and ARA means NO 😂 so I can say I finally met a language that resumes my being and Gemini essence perfectly 🫴🏻💥 I met amazing people, sneaked in ballet state theater rehearsals, saw special celebrations, heard a live choir and saw great art in great galleries. I learned a lot and I hope to be back soon to see even more of this amazing part of the World. Thank you Basa, Tamriko, Koko, Dato, Salome, Vato, Keti, Kitty, Tina, Lexo, George, David, Gogiko, Levan, Ketuta, and Valery. Next time I want to go to Tusheti 🍀and feel the magic of Caucasus . I love life, I love this World and I love you all for being in it.
