Conrad Anker Instagram – The @khumbuclimbingcenter begins with a Puja ceremony. The students, instructors and volunteers hike to the lower Khumbila ice flows and share a meaningful start to the course. Aou Lama has been part of this tradition for 14 years.
Once the ceremony concludes we toss toasted barley in the sky for long life. We then share the pemar (barley cake cone) and Losar biscuits. Once the goodness is lined out we begin climbing. | Posted on 21/Jan/2024 15:58:24
