David Mack Instagram – My character of: “Marvel’s ‘Echo’ Premieres At Number One On Both Disney+ And Hulu”. Sounds like the right time for my creator-owned series: KABUKI to have her TV series, right? ⚡️ ⚡️ & our creator-owned series called: COVER from @BrianMBendis & I… inspired by my overseas work for the US State Dept… To all those supporting my work… where did you discover my work? Kabuki? Daredevil? Cover? Jessica Jones? My work with Neil Gaiman? At the ECHO premiere with the cast & creators. Legendary @VincentDOnofrio graciously telling the press that I created Echo & helped with his Kingpin performance on #Daredevil. Wonderful to view the Echo series with my co-creator & collaborators on that first story, @JoeQuesada, & @JimmyPalmiotti, (who also hired me to write Daredevil back then- 25 years ago, & on) & editor Nanci Q, @AmandaConner, & @ComicKairi, who filmed this moment & so many other photos & videos I will share with you here. A heartfelt thank you to the cast & creators of the ECHO @Disney+ series, @AlaquaCox @sydneyfreeland @mariondayre @zahnmcclarnon @shoshannah7 & all that I met & have yet to meet, for putting such heartfelt effort & thoughtfulness into this story & character & world. It’s a moving experiences for me to see the ECHO story come to life after all these year, & after so much invested in the character & stories that come from a very personal place. It was incredible to see so many people dressed as ECHO at the premiere, & so wonderful to see the character embraced by the Deaf community & the Indigenous community. I taught at the School for the Deaf in Africa, Asia, & Europe, in my work for the US State Dept, and the students love Echo all around the world. And now to see Echo embraced so personally here is so moving. I hope all of you enjoy the show today.
