“ I have been in a very good place in my life for the last few months.

I have developed a good awareness of who I really am, of what I want to achieve, and how specifically I’m going to achieve my goal—I have even been happily working hard on achieving this goal.

However, there are certain “obligations of reality’” that I will be required to fulfill soon which have absolutely no connection to my real identity, and in doing this I’m worried that I might have to sacrifice a good part of myself and my creative spirit towards stress and unhappiness which could well impact the process of achieving this dream of mine.

What would be your advice on practically dealing with things that we don’t necessarily have one hundred percent of our hearts in?

Would it be wise to ditch them completely even though common sense and logic say otherwise?!”

My response:

Once you know your true nature as an unlimited spirit, everything in the relative world feels unconnected to your essence.

That is because you are no longer looking for yourself in the external world.

This is just the halfway station to enlightenment.

And so it is to be expected that you will be involved in many activities, obligations, and social commitments you no longer have your heart into because you are no longer investing your identity in those activities.

But there are plenty of other good reasons to continue those activities—to make others happy, to provide for your and others’ economic security, etc.

In time, your spiritual self will begin to expand and move into the world, and you will then find your true self in others and in the world.

This is the path of love and beauty that leads to the full enlightenment of unity consciousness.

In this state of awareness, you will find your spiritual heart in everything you do.
