How will this cycle end?” My response: Cruelty will end when those who are cruel learn compassion and begin to learn that hurting others does not really make them feel better or help them. The idea behind the law of Karma is not punishment or retribution, it is offering the opportunity to learn self-awareness from one’s actions.
