A neat thing we did with the paperback of Notes From a Fellow Traveller. We used OTA binding which neatly separates the pages from the spine, allowing you to rest the open book flat on a café table and read effortlessly while you sip your oat milk cortado. Because you deserve it, you really do.

I think the greatest comfort food in the world. Home made polpette – meatballs – with home made bigoli pasta. And yes my Amalfi crockery garners strong negative reactions from those of you in the wrong. Putting those meaty babies on pasta might be the one improvement the Americans have made to Italian cuisine. Discuss.

Last night I supper upon the most extraordinary sake – @toku.sake. Way more fancy than I deserve, or will ever have again, but now I get what a great sake is. Hopeless at describing these things, but it’s smooth, complex, somehow gummy and then light and fresh… ❤️. And before you ask, that’s my friend’s hand as my nail varnish is MUCH redder.
