Diplo Instagram – ..Today would be my sister birthday and I am going to celebrate her. We took these pics at like JC PENNY when I was 5 . I want to remember my big sister smiling with me. I I try to use my socials honesrtly and be real with you guys but losing my sister was something I could not really understand. She was my big sister she was actually the first person to let me learn about music .. I toyed wwith her record collection of early pop music like Madonna and boy bands like NKOTB . When my mother left soon after I think it was to be with Amy because she saw that me and my sister Kelly and my dad and her grandkids were safe here. My sister could always have used more of me. every year on Jan 15 I’d send her a birthday text and she would be surprised I’d even do that. I wish I gave her more hugs at Christmas and I wish I had just a tiny bit of the generosity and kindness she had for everyone. She had been thru a lot and I know she suffered more than I wanted to understand. I know could have been a better brother, and I feel like I didn’t know much of her life the past couple of years but she left us a gift .. my awesome niece Lynn Marie that I’ve gotten to know and be proud of. .
