Ethan Suplee Instagram – I’ve had lots of tough days at work, this one was a doozy.
I started working as an actor in 1994, and a big part of my motivation was to disguise my weight. I preferred the idea of be stared at because possibly someone had seen me in a movie or on TV, to the alternative. I was incredibly dissatisfied with the results.
I did eventually find that I enjoyed acting, and when I focused solely on the work itself, I found joy in it. And it then produced as a byproduct, a distraction to my weight.
This has been my experience with all aspects of my life. When I’m hyper focused on the goal, it is fleeting. When I’m focused on the work, the byproducts are nothing short of miraculous.
