J. D. Pardo Instagram – A friend caught this moment on one of our last days of filming Mayans. I’m both in love with and completely disturbed by this image. I guess it’s fitting when I think about EZ. I often wondered what his life would be like if he didn’t seek revenge for his mothers death, or if he decided to choose Gabby over his brother, or maybe it was his destiny all along? Somethings, I guess, are just not so simple to understand. There is always a price to pay, whether it’s you or those around you. As an actor I poured myself into EZ. It took a great toll on me, and ultimately I had to let it all go. But what a dream. I feel honored and blessed to be given such an opportunity, and now as I fill myself up with God, movies, music, art and life, I find that my soul is stirring, ready to move again.
