John John Florence Instagram – Stoked to have this opportunity to surf with everyone this week! Congrats to all of the women’s finalists, and especially @moana.17 for the win. That was super inspiring to watch, you all put on a great show! I was stoked to be in a final with @m_pang @sethmoniz @billykemper hopefully next time we get a shot at trading better waves. All of that after heats with my brothers @nathan_florence @ivanflorence_ and our friend @eimeo.czermak the last few days. I was bummed to see Eimeo get hurt, hoping you have a fast recovery!

I also can’t say enough how grateful I am for all of my friends here, Lauryn, my mom, and family and everyone who supports me on the North Shore. Thank you!! It all gets me fired up for the next few contests here at home!!
