King Charles III of the United Kingdom Instagram – The King’s Christmas broadcast (3pm on Christmas Day if you need a reminder!) continues a longstanding tradition set by previous Sovereigns. The King’s Christmas Broadcast first took place in 1932 with His Majesty’s great-grandfather, King George V, addressing the Nation from Sandringham House. 📷 King George V in 1934 📷 King George VI in 1944 📷 Queen Elizabeth II in 1957, the first time the Christmas broadcast was televised.
