Kyle Schmid Instagram – The last month has been one I will never forget. There are moments in our lives that define us, that change us. Sometimes, it is not a choice but a requirement of life to stand taller and stronger in the face of loss. In the midst of these past weeks, my wife showed up for me in a way I never would have thought anyone to. She gave me space to find my own strength and was strong when I was not. My friends and family did the same. These photos are a few of my favourite taken during a brief respite from the goings on that had taken up so much of my emotional wear. The light through the cracks, smiles amidst the cries and so forth. She is my favourite person in the world, my wife and partner. I love you @caitylotz and thank you for being my calm in the storm.
