Why would he be willing to skip baby steps, to ditch or reform the filibuster, and/or stack the courts? Is he being honest if he doesn’t admit that without larger majorities in Congress, Biden can’t keep his promises? Are there abortion advocates demanding this before they’ll vote for Biden? This issue is so important that Dems did better than expected in the 2022 midterms because of it. But those who care about this issue need to get firm commitments from a conservative, catholic president with an iffy record on abortion before promising their votes to him. That’s why Dems are forced to campaign 4 years later on the 2020 agenda which mostly didn’t get done. I’m all for securing abortion rights.
