Lady Bunny Instagram – Is this a real campaign ad for Biden? If you’ll recall, his first ad sought to make him look like a youthful and vigorous hero protecting Ukraine. The war that we’re helping Ukraine lose? The war NATO scuttled peace talks early on so that 500,000 Ukrainians could die needlessly? I don’t know who that ad was meant to appeal to, exactly. But there’s a new ad…. In this one, Biden doesn’t even appear except in a photograph at the end. Most of it is Nicki Haley and clips of Trump getting confused. This is the kind of negative ad you put out when you have few accomplishments in the last 3 years m to brag about. And what sort of person is this meant to appeal to? Someone who cares about no policies except hating Trump? (Sadly, that’s half of the Dem party.) And I guess it’s geared to those who are too blind to see that Biden is the guy who regularly gets confused and struggles to speak. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! Biden actually has the nerve to accuse Trump of what he’s guilty of? Sounds like the ludicrous accusations of the IDF, which regularly accuse Hamas of the same horrors which they themselves commit. Billions will be spent on this campaign—for mind rot like this? Democrats tend to be more college-educated than Republicans, so who is this ignorant nonsense geared to? I guess the same gullible types who believe that Biden’s senility is a stutter. “Trump’s senile, too!” Is a juvenile schoolyard taunt. My other issue with this ad is that it casts the vile Nicki Haley as someone trustworthy. Good idea, Biden! Elevate the dangerous candidate like Hillary’s campaign foolishly elevated Trump. How did that work out in 2016? What would make a better ad? Almost anything! But why not try this angle? Trump and his 2016 victory were attributed to “right-wing populism.” Yet Trump won and cut taxes on the wealthiest—that’s the opposite of populism. Hot on that clear hypocrisy which undermines the root of his appeal. But I guess corporate Dems like Biden don’t mind tax cuts on the wealthy because they also want to repay the wealthy donors without whom Trump or Biden could never win.
