Matthew Santoro Instagram – This was the day my life changed forever. Originally posted 2012-09-05, I lost my job as an accountant and decided to record my thoughts when I arrived home. I felt so lost but also, strangely, a sense of relief. Almost exactly one year from this recording my YouTube channel took off and I got 3.5 million subscribers in a matter of months. This event was the universe’s way of pushing me into the direction I was always meant to go and the truth is had I not been laid off that day, I don’t think I would have followed my dream. I thought being laid off was horrible, but it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me. We all have a path. If you have a passion, follow it.
