Miles Robbins Instagram – The Palm and Other Parts is now available on streaming services. It’s a love story. A joyful and tragic journey. A vulnerable narrative I have been working on for the past decade. Some of these songs I started writing as far back as 2013, and it’s been a long process to letting them go. But I am so proud to have taken the past five years or so to play and experiment with my beloved family in @powpowfamilyband as we produced this record in studios and bedrooms, a barn, a beach, a rehearsal space in Koenji.. and everywhere else we managed to capture sounds. It was really, really fun. I was also so honored to work with my brilliant brother @gabewax, who did additional production and mixed the record, and the genius @heba_kadry who blessed us with her mastering wizardry. I can’t thank them enough for lending their ears to the project and shaping it into so much more. Another big thanks to @cristalabella who designed this beautiful wedding invitation and lyric cards. I’d also love to thank everyone I ate with over the past decade and all of the meals that we’ve shared, however long they lasted. I would be so glad if you took time to enjoy the record in one sitting. On a beach in winter. On a train ride through the rain.
