It’s with great sadness and shock that we received the news that our dear friend and beloved collaborator Fredrik Notling has passed away.

Fredrik was the person who taught us all about the internet and ran our website for many years. But he also became a close friend to the band throughout the years.

Fredrik had a big heart, a warm soul, a twisted sense of humour and a very open mind. He greeted everything new with a curious “Å-hå!?” and in that sense was an inspiration to us all.

He had a deep and thorough love of music and film and was the one you always could discuss cult films, rare bootlegs and obscure outtakes from favourite bands with. Besides that, he was a fantastic singer and joined us many times on stage and in the studio.

He was always concerned about our rock roots and therefore always let us know when the guitars were mixed too low. It feels good now to remember that last summer on our reunion tour he was very pleased to hear that the guitars were turned up to a proper eleven.

Fredrik will be deeply missed by us all. He will leave a big void in all of our lives.
Rest in Peace, Fredrik.
