Here is a before and after of her results, which ended up being one of the most incredibly complex cases and heartfelt stories we’ve ever had on the show.
Shelly had a rare form of skin cancer that led to multiple, horrific complications, which included a gaping hole in the side of her nose. Morpheaform basal cell carcinoma, which Shelley had, is an extremely rare form of the skin cancer I had. It can be a fast-growing basal cell that occurs underneath the skin.
In order to help her, we had to perform numerous surgeries, including the need to make a forehead flap!
