It’s a mix of true life stories and some fiction and an archaeological dig into 1984 that hopes to be a completely accurate snapshot of what it was like being a skateboarder when the sport was young, and what it meant to the people who found it– all brought to life by one of my favorite art teams. This thing is gorgeous. I can’t imagine anybody else on Earth doing a better job of capturing the era and the specificity.
