Rick Remender Instagram – I had an anxiety attack last night about something that may not ever even happen, and it kept me up till 5am. Sitting on the porch and thinking about it, here at the ripe old age of 50, I’m coming to the realization that this is just hardwired into my brain. Years of therapy only helped put a light on it, so I do understand it, but once that instinct to predict the wreckage of the future kicks in — usually when my head hits the pillow — there ain’t no stopping it. Then, the next day, I wake up, and it doesn’t bother me in the least. It’s just some vague worry in a potential future. I wonder what it is about trying to sleep that makes my brain wants to find ways to stress. Anyway, pretty sunset tonight. Los Angeles, California
