But on the other hand, Personally, I think it’s a bit too Solemn for a joyous world anthem. But that’s just my thoughts. Don’t let it sway you. Plus a song like Purple Rain can lead to some singer butchering it before a boxing match and singing 100 notes in every line. It does my head in when someone comes out to sing a national anthem and makes it about them and not the country or the occasion. Just sing the fucking song…….glad to get that off my chest. Namaste.
