Romeo Miller Instagram – As a child my auntie Marie would pull out her Bible and tell me, no matter how legendary of a career or family, you must always give praise to the source… GOD! Anybody chasing a dream, rich or poor, regardless of what you come from; it’ll be up to you on how far you go. Being the oldest of 9, I realized that no matter how bad a parent may want a child to succeed or what resources one may have, that child will have to make the choices him or herself to be great. Whether a child succeeds or not, one can’t take credit for those accomplishments and one can’t take blame for the failures, parents are here to help set the table and root from a distance. As I look back at my career, I realized I was never not working and I thought that was normal for a 10 year old kid. I’ll never get the credit I deserve for the amount of work and time I put in because of my last name, but that’s the beauty, God had to give me that particular life and my particular parents to prepare and build me up for MY purpose. My insight on the true PROS and CONS of success would usually take a person their own life time to learn, but I was able to watch and experience simultaneously and learn from others mistakes by the age of thirteen. My conclusion, whomever you are meant to be, you will become that because God already handpicked you before any man said yes or no. Keep learning, because the best is yet to come.
