Rouzbeh Rashidi Instagram – “Time will devour all. Time to tell.” 2023 served as a pivotal and profoundly transformative period for Elika and me. We faced numerous challenges, yet each brought us incrementally closer to achieving our goals. Our journey consisted of humble strides and constructive leaps, contributing to our collective growth. My latest feature film, Elpis, which has been in the works since late 2019, finally saw its release. I was privileged enough to showcase it in several cities across various countries, engaging with diverse audiences and sparking rich conversations about the film. This project marked a new chapter in my filmmaking career, steering me towards fresh and unexplored territories within the realm of cinema. The thrill of this direction is invigorating, and I am eager to delve deeper into it. In the upcoming year, I have more screenings scheduled for Elpis, and I will keep you updated on these events in the forthcoming months. As we enter the new year, my primary focus will be channelled towards developing a new feature film, a project that currently commands my full attention. In addition to filmmaking, I plan to conduct an extensive range of experimental filmmaking courses and workshops in Berlin and throughout Europe. These offerings will extend to various services on a global scale, including commissioning, mentorship, private tutoring, and consultancy.
