Shea Couleé Instagram – 2023 was definitely a year that will symbolize growth for me. I released my first album “8” and spent the first half of the year opening up for Betty Who across America, and then two weeks later embarked on my first solo headlining tour in the UK/Europe. There were a lot of growing pains with embarking on this new journey as a live musician, and it definitely pushed me outside of my comfort zone and forced me to face some of my fears head on. I stepped I. The role of producer, and created some projects that I am really proud of. Outside of the general creative process, I really wanted to focus on healing the wounds I sustained through discovering just how cutthroat this industry can be. I had to get back to my roots and ground myself in order to get back in touch with what’s really real. I nested, I curated my home, I cooked, I meditated, I got outside and touched grass. Ultimately now at the end of 2023 all I can focus on is how grateful I am am for every single individual who has poured into my cup this year. Thank you to everyone on my team, my family, my friends, my partner, my dog, and every single person who showed me an ounce of love and humanity throughout this roller coaster of a year. I’ve learned, and I’ve grown, and I’m excited to see what 2024 has in store. Wishing everyone an incredibly happy, safe, and healthy New Year 🍾🥂✨ P.S FREE PALESTINE 🇵🇸
