I know what it’s like to be made to feel like you’re too much, or not enough, to be told to reel in your own dreams, to be made to doubt yourself. And so for the longest time I refused to let anyone else into my circle, lest it be poisoned again.
But at the beginning of 2023 I realized that I needed help with my publicity, I couldn’t do it on my own anymore; I needed someone to help me open the doors that still remained closed to me. @kalikahastings and I had toyed previously with the idea of working together, and so we finally set off on that journey. And throughout the year she’s proven to me time and time again that my circle is better with her in it, that she is deserving of my utmost trust and respect. And so, as we move into 2024, I want to take a moment to express gratitude to a wonderful being that continues believes in me, that doesn’t see me as too much, or not enough, that urges me to continue to dream my biggest dreams.
