Tom Büdgen Instagram – The world of 2023.
Or perhaps: my world. Taken from the perspective where monumental things seem to have happened, yet it seems that for some reason time is frozen in certain aspects. I’m guessing that what I am saying is that time as always moves incredibly fast yet at the same time it seems as if nothing has progressed.
A year of increasingly highs both professional and personally (new house, Wembley, PPV’s, titles, oppertunities, gym) and lows also both personally and professionally (not processing the previous year and it’s happenings because there is simply never time to do so, the move to the new house itself and certain aspects within my profession both creative and competitive wise that did not flow or construct in a way that I deemed successful on a personal level.) However I am the eternal perfectionist, so high criticism is the key to better and more, and human life is part accepting and part not accepting and hoping that the latter can become the initial by means of correcting what you feel needs to change or understanding the peace that has to be made with yourself to not let it matter.
I look forward to 2024, I dread 2024. I look forward leaving 2023 behind, I will miss things that I have to leave in 2023. The ever lasting paradox that I clash with.
