Vikas Khanna Instagram – I swear this is going to be your next favorite chocolate cake. You do not temper the chocolate, it means with the warm butter. And also adds texture to the cake. – 1 cup high-quality dark chocolate – 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks) – 3/4 cup granulated sugar – 4 large eggs – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1/2 cup all-purpose flour – Pinch of salt Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a square cake pan and line it with parchment paper. 2. Melt the butter using a microwave for 2 mins on high and pour it over sugar. Add the chocolate and mix well. 3. Add vanilla extract, eggs and whisk until the mixture becomes light and fluffy. 5. Sift in the flour and add a pinch of salt, then fold until just combined. Be careful not to overmix. 6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan with parchment paper and tap on the counter for a smooth top. 7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs. 8. Allow the chocolate cake to cool in the pan before transferring it to a serving plate. Save & Share. New York, New York
