My mom always wanted to stay in a houseboat so when I finally took her there to help her tick off an item from her bucket-list she had the warmest biggest smile on her face which literally was the best memory of 2023 for me. Everything I do and have done seemed worth it just to see her so happy and relaxed ❤️
The houseboats of Alleppey are truly a serene, relaxing and once in a lifetime experience! Especially because unlike the Kashmir ones, they aren’t mounted by the edge but are actually gliding through the waters giving you a beautiful new view every few minutes!!😲
