Abby Miller Instagram – After teaching for six hours, we drove an hour back to Orlando rushing to park and get inside the ESPN Arena to catch former Dance Moms’ dynamic dancer @maesicaesofficial perform in the jazz dance and pom divisions representing Minnesota! By the time I got through the crowd into this special handicap, seating section, I had MISSED her and all the incredible routines from Minnesota, Hofstra University, Ohio State University, and a shout out to Rutgers too!!! It was great to see Kelly Larkin @studioldance and Michelle Larkin! You all know how Disney World is ~ you finally get to your destination and then you have to walk a million more feet to really get where you are going! We told them we needed security on the way in, they completely ignored us until the crowd started to swell and follow me, and the girls started to scream my name at the tops of their lungs!!! Suddenly Security was everywhere! Thank You!!!! I wish there had been an orderly manner in which I could’ve taken a photo with each and every young person there… Although with thousands of people there that would have taken several days! You don’t realize how crazy it is to be sitting down low in a chair and have a crowd of tall people close in on you. Not only is it scary, but also dangerous. My power wheelchair weighs 450 pounds.(without me in it)lol! If my wheel rolls over your foot, it will shatter the bones! I wasn’t present to host my own event! I wasn’t on the judging panel or a guest of UCA! I had just paid for tickets for myself and my friends to run in to see a few routines and run out! The venue and the show was fabulous!
