Aleksa Palladino Instagram – A lesser known EXITMUSIC song that I’m still really proud of is called ‘The Wanting’ and it’s quite simple in its structure. Mostly a atmospheric drone that builds with intensity and vocals. BUT what’s so meaningful to me about it is that I had just found all these NASA-Voyager recordings from space and we layered them into the track. Electromagnetic “voices” made up of charged particles from the solar winds and planetary magnetosphere. It’s especially meaningful as the lyrics speak about letting go, of releasing something not meant for you back into the unknown. Hope you give it a listen wherever you listen to things.
