Notching, a crucial conservation method, involves creating unique patterns on rhino ears for easy identification. This helps monitor and protect them, aiding in anti-poaching efforts and ensuring a sustainable future for these endangered giants. Dr Andre has also created a special Rhino tagging GPS device for real-time tracking, aiding conservationists in monitoring their movements, detecting potential threats, and understanding their behavior. This crucial data contributes to effective protection strategies.
