Amy Jackson Instagram – We met with the world renowned wildlife conservationist and vet, Dr Andre who had us be a part of his ‘Anti Poaching Rhino Operation.’ Rhino poaching in Africa is a grim reality driven by demand for their horns. Notching, a crucial conservation method, involves creating unique patterns on rhino ears for easy identification. This helps monitor and protect them, aiding in anti-poaching efforts and ensuring a sustainable future for these endangered giants. Dr Andre has also created a special Rhino tagging GPS device for real-time tracking, aiding conservationists in monitoring their movements, detecting potential threats, and understanding their behavior. This crucial data contributes to effective protection strategies. Alongside notching, the tags ultimately play a pivotal role in the battle against poaching and ensuring the survival of these magnificent creatures. Amy Jackson Instagram – Privileged moment in Coimbatore with @sadhguru – one of the most inspiring visionaries of our time. In between our movie promotions for Mission, we had the opportunity to visit Isha Yoga and meet with the creator himself and learned about his own mission concerning holistic well-being and sustainable causes – all of which is having a hugely positive impact on the world we live in. Whilst spending time with Sadhguru, we discussed all sorts of subjects from raising HAPPY, healthy children, to the world’s future mental health crisis and the importance of creating an environment that fosters wellbeing for ourselves. Mindful eating was a big talking point and having the connection between the food we consume and the health of the soil it comes from – which is currently in a deeply concerning state and why Sadhguru went on a 100 day ‘motorcycle mission’ to save soil! So, thank you Sadhguru your transformative teachings and support for noble initiatives make a profound difference in the world.
