You’re afraid to die.
We are taught that death is the great unknown of nothingness that must be avoided at all costs, despite the fact that we will all return to its waters, whether figuratively or physically.
Because you see life and death as two opposite extremes, rather than poles that exist in harmony to aid in transformation and creation, you shut yourself off from any experiences or changes that require you to surrender to death.
There can be no life without death. No death without life.
Whether it is death of ego, relationships, harmful habits, or self perceptions, if you are unwilling to let go, to allow for death to wipe the slate the clean, you will simply open yourself to the agonizingly slow death of stagnation.
Either way, you must die so that you can live.
To fear your own death is to fear your potential, the limitless possibility that awaits you. The Woman that you long to be cannot fill a space that is already occupied. The version of you that has served her purpose must be laid to rest so that you can evolve.
Your life is in chaos because you refuse to let her go.
So why not surrender to death’s transformation and trust that something wonderful will be born in its place?
When you change your perspective and allow yourself to embrace the terrible/wonderful unknown of death, then creation and birth of new life, will rise to meet you in ways that will surpass your wildest dreams.
