Angie Scarth-Johnson Instagram – Reel Rock 8 was the first proper climbing film I had ever watched.. Mum got me tickets to the local screening but I really wasn’t into watching climbing films. By the end of the night I left that cinema with a little fire in my heart for climbing.. I was so new to the sport and it was also the first time in my short life I ever really felt inspired by something. The Reel Rock tour was my insight to worldly climbing and climbers before instagram really became the thing. It was also the First time I heard about @hazel_findlay, I found out shortly after she would be coming to Australia for the tour. I very clearly remember putting on my favourite dress just to meet her , and then putting some shorts on underneath just incase she wanted to Boulder some of the tables at the venue with me.😂 I was such a fan girl of both her and the films made by @reelrock (pic3) it really feels crazy to be going into a Reel rock tour myself and .. WITH hazel !!!
