Anitta Instagram – Starting off the 2024 season of my carnival with the theme “Samba Schools,” I arrived dressed in homage to “Porto da Pedra” from São Gonçalo, Rio de Janeiro! Since the creation of ‘carnival blocks’, social and political themes have emerged in the midst of the revelry. In 2023, the school brought the theme “A Jangada: 800 leagues on the Amazon” to its parade. A theme that, besides showcasing the diversity, beauty, and grandeur of our forest, signaled the urgent importance of preservation and recovery, as well as the protection of indigenous territories and rights. Sixty-nine percent of the Amazon forest is Brazilian. By keeping the Amazon alive, we are combating global warming and climate change. Pt nos comentários Salvador, Bahia, Brazil
