Anitta Instagram – Alô Comunidade da Morada do Samba! ❤️💚 Today, I pay tribute to a 56-year-old samba school, @mocidadealegre, also known in São Paulo as the ‘Samba Haven,’ who has celebrated 11 victories as a part of the samba-school’s ‘special group’. Last year, the school celebrated African culture by sharing the story of ‘Yasuke,’ a black immigrant who became a respected samurai in Japan. The school conveyed the strength of a young black man achieving his goals in an oppressive and prejudiced society. ‘My samba is struggle and voice, speaking for all of us,’ echoed the school’s theme, reinforcing the idea of strength.
