Last month I had the opportunity to work together with a group of young @unicef reporters to document the situation of the climate crisis in South Sudan and East Africa.
These are the stories of the people living on the front lines of the climate crisis.
This is their warning to the world.
And these stories need to be seen and heard.
Pledges at climate conferences are not enough. Resources and solutions must reach all affected communities. We need more solutions for climate change mitigation, adaptation and loss and damages. They must be binding. Affected countries should not go into debt for a crisis they didn’t create.
Young people need a seat at the table.
Climate justice is the only way forward.
