Cush Jumbo Instagram – I am so thrilled to announce the international release of my new play ‘Gilly Gilly’ on @audible @audibletheater I wrote this play during the first lockdown but had been marinating it for about 5 years It is directed by the amazing @phyllida_lloyd I want to warn you that this play is about inherited trauma so please listen with support if you need to but it is also full of light and laughter and the inside of my guts so I hope you enjoy. Some people have called it a companion piece to ‘Josephine & I’ which is kind of interesting, I’d love to know what you all think of it so please let me know! 😁 Will I put it on stage?
