Looking back through the nascent lens of 2024, I see how much we accomplished just since April in just 9 months of existence, Loving Way… * Was presented with the Proclamation for Child Abuse Prevention Month by the City of West Hollywood. * Co-hosted the City of West Hollywood Human Rights Speaker Series panel: The Crusade Against Child Abuse * Participated in the 3rd annual Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Community Picnic, where we quickly became friends with families of child abuse victim-angels, Gabriel Fernandez & Anthony Avalos * Moderated the “Mobilizing Change” panel for World Children’s Day For Peace, Presented by the @UnitedNations LA & the Ruth Weiss Foundation at UCLA * Had our very first corporate partnership with Jouer Cosmetics & their La Vie En Rose Lip Kit product, with sales benefiting Loving Way * Partnered with Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch for our 2nd annual HalloWAY Halloween event, with special needs & child abuse victims & their families as our guests & Mr. Bones donating 20% of all sales for the week * Held our annual toy drive, benefiting Extraordinary Families & Foster Love * Partnered with our first retail partner, Veronica Beard, for a shopping event * hosted our 1st annual WAYvember fundraising drive, in honor of Waylon’s birthday * Co-hosted our 1st Friends of Loving Way – Palm Springs event, sponsored by The Shag House & our 1st Friends of Loving Way – Austin event, sponsored by Lodgewell Properties Thank you to EVERY SINGLE ONE of you who… Donated to Loving Way… Partnered with Loving Way… And supported Loving Way.
