Elena Pinderhughes Instagram – The other night right before the LA premiere of @americanfictionmovie !
One of the greatest honors of my life and best decisions I’ve ever made is starting to train in film scoring this year with @laurakarpman and team Art Farm West. I don’t know how I got so lucky but this year Laura asked me if I’d like to start training with her to learn film scoring and I’ve been studying and training with her, @writenewmusic and @ameliaallen8 all year and soaking up as much knowledge as possible. I’m finding new parts of music and the writing process in connection to film and picture that I am falling in love with everyday. Thank you thank you thank you to Laura and team art farm west for taking me under your wing and mentoring me. I don’t have enough words to tell you how special it is and how grateful I am.
One of my favorite things I’ve gotten to be a part of this year while working and studying with Laura is the score to American Fiction!
