I have been sadden all day to hear about the death of the great #mauricehines .. a lot of people are not aware how instrumental he was to my career start in my days as a musical theatre performer in NYC ..
I traveled the world in his musical productions as part of the dancers and chorus . From #satchmo musical about Louis Armstrong to my ONE #broadway
credit a tap dancing fulled show – called “OH-Kay”
Working with him built up this country girls confidence on stage
And -helped me to grow as the performer I became ..
I’m grateful that i surprised him a few years back at his masterclass at @officialdadance and it meant the world to me !
( when i get a lot of those old pics ill do a trip down that memory lane )
I know you are tap dancing in heaven now 🙏🏼🙏🏼 .

But I’m sharing that my film #Survival was SOLD ! and it’s my official #producer credit !
I’m extremely proud of everyone on this long journey …
Guys wearing both hats ( lead role and a co- producer on an INDIE FILM )was not for the weak..
I only had 2 days off in the month..
I ran to midnight production meetings
And dipped my face in ice water for early morning calls at 6am
Did stunts and scenes that were extremely difficult..
But I walked away with more knowledge of creating from beginning to end and I can create ANYTHING NOW!!!! And you can too 🎭🎬
