Ella Hooper Instagram – Dear all, today is Ausmusic T-Shirt Day! A day to celebrate Aussie music & raise urgently-needed funds for music workers. Ella says: Thrilled to be wearing my ‘Wild to be Sharing This Moment’ Emily Barker tee today, which I proudly picked up at her show @forummelbourne last weekend. This song & artist inspire me! The chorus is printed on the back: “Isn’t it wild to be sharing this moment? The same very thimble of time. Isn’t it wild that we each hold an ocean, yet fail to fathom other tides..” I feel that’s SO appropriate for this day about supporting each other & being interconnected through this wonderful passion (& career!) of music. Also realising that when some of us are up, others are down & vice versa. But we are stronger together & Support Act is one of the most legit organisations I’ve ever witnessed when it comes to actual tangible help with the issues & crises facing us working musicians & behind the music workers today. So nice to have muso sisterhood friends like Emily in my life & I love this day every year, seeing how excited we all are to represent & support each other. It gives me a great swell of pride!
