Emelie Forsberg Instagram – I feel like we don’t talk about the benefits of cross-training enough! It’s easy to get caught up in running mileage, but for me, I have always used the winter months to focus on SkiMo and other cross-training activities to supplement my training. I reduce my running volume by nearly 60%, but I’m able to increase the volume of activity with SkiMo sessions up to 6 hours. By reducing the impact on my body, I feel fresh and strong going into the spring racing season, and I have a great aerobic base.
